About Tiny Sprouts & Little Sprouts
Tiny Sprouts Infant Care and Little Sprouts Childcare and Preschool are located in Woodbury off 494 between Tamarack and Valley Creek. Little Sprouts opened in August of 2012 and in November 2016 we added Tiny Sprouts Infant Care. Both facilities are designed to meet the needs of each age group we serve. We offer full time and part time Infant, Toddler and Preschool programs. The programs are designed to give children a comfortable, safe, and educational environment that promotes their development of social skills, independent thinking, and a positive self- image that they need to succeed in kindergarten and later in life. While all our Sprouts staff recognize that working on a child’s intellectual growth and development is important, we also recognize that kids need to be kids…. In a society where everything is so fast paced and children are pushed to grow up so quickly, we want to make sure that children have time to run, laugh, play and be silly.
Our Philosophy
Here at Tiny Sprouts Infant Care and Little Sprouts Childcare and Preschool we pride ourselves on the happiness and safety of the children in our care. We feel it is essential to ensure that each child has a positive experience each and every day. We provide a safe, clean and nurturing environment for children to learn and play. Our group size is kept to a minimum as we want every child to receive the care and attention that they need and deserve.
We believe that providing structure is an important part of a child’s development. Having a predictable routine allows children to feel safe, and to develop a sense of self-discipline. However, our desire to see your children do their best often means taking a flexible and adaptive approach, based on their abilities, personalities, interests or talents, as well as their desires. Our teachers realize that every child is different, which means if needed they will change their approach and adapt according to each child’s needs. Your child’s growth and learning doesn’t stop at Little Sprouts. We believe that teachers and parents need to work together in order for your child to flourish.
Some neat things about Tiny Sprouts and Little Sprouts

We put strong emphasis on living healthy lifestyles and making healthy choices. This is promoted and modeled by all staff at our Sprouts locations. Our menu is created to offer well balanced meals and snacks that still taste yummy. Our goal is to expose children to a wide variety of healthy foods in order for them to acquire a taste for fresh, nutritious foods instead of junk food. Physical activity also plays a large part in living a healthy lifestyle. Young children have a lot of energy to burn… a lot of energy. Physical activity produces overall physical, psychological and social benefits. When children are active it has a positive impact on their psychological well-being, including more self-confidence and higher self-esteem. Teachers will incorporate physical activity and fitness into their daily schedule. Children will have the chance to play outdoors in both the summer and winter as the weather permits. If the weather does not allow for outdoor play, another physical activity will be planned in our Large Muscle room.

Shoe free rooms… Because children spend so much time on the floor rolling, playing, crawling and falling we want to do whatever we can to keep the floors as clean as possible. When children arrive at school they will change from their street shoes into their school shoes. This keeps our facility clean and helps our floors to last longer.

Cold lunch or catered… Tiny Sprouts and Little Sprouts give all families the choice to bring in their own lunch from home or receive lunch through Tinuccis. Tinuccis is a family- owned and operated restaurant in Newport that serves fresh, delicious hot lunches. They offer a great variety of entrees and an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables. Both locations are a peanut-free childcare facility.
